Valentines Day - Feb 14th

January Blues!

Here at Kid Premiership we consider ourselves to be quite an active bunch. We have a personal trainer who comes in two evenings a week to hold classes. Tuesdays are fit ball and Pilates sessions, whilst Thursday is running/jogging, we’re lucky to have some great off road running within yards of the office.

In addition to this we run a five a side football team in a local league on Monday nights and there is a mountain bike group that goes out on Wednesday evenings. And this doesn’t include whatever people get up to on their own!

So when The Kid told us he was suffering from the January blues there was only one thing we could suggest...GET ACTIVE!

Well after a snowy Christmas and New Year the Kid Premiership crew are back and in full swing with a reprint of our book Take Action.

We have been working with the National CAMHS Support Service to create a fantastic new book aimed at young people and their parents/carers. The book focuses on how to take care of your mental health and emotional well being, and what to do if you feel you have taken on too much.

Bonfire Party

November the fifth was one of those days when the rain hammered down all day here at Kid Premiership headquarters. Undaunted, we gamely ploughed on with our bonfire party in the field next to the office. Mark and Stuart battled the elements to give us what could easily be the biggest private bonfire in the whole of Kirklees and a firework display that defied the downpour.

Caroline, David and a host of helpers manned the barbecues under the shade of two distinctly undersized gazebos, luckily no one needed to refer to 'Family First Aid' and a good if slightly soggy time was had by all.

By 10.30 all signs of the festivities had been cleared away, except for the bonfire, which continued to smoulder for the next three days.

Be Cool, Stay Cool!

In support of Anti-Bullying Week Kid Premiership is offering one of it's best selling learning resources at a special one off price.

Developed in partnership with Kirklees council, we are really proud of Buster and the message he delivers. The book deals with the issues that can so often lead to bullying and is accompanied by Buster's Workbook and Teacher's Notes. We've had tremendous feedback from the schools that have purchased the set, which is why we are so pleased to be offering it at such a special price.
